I'm Dr. McFarland, a board certified pediatric dentist and mother of three. The official AAPD recommendation is that all children should establish a dental home no later than their first birthday, but many families lack access. My hope is that this course will fill in any knowledge gaps!

I cover how to (with positioning demos) effectively brush your child's teeth, what tools to use at what ages, how to find a pediatric dentist and why, teething management, trauma prevention, tooth-healthy diet and hygiene practices, overcoming struggles with brushing, and more!
